Sorry about the lack of updates here . . . I’ve been terribly busy putting the finishing touches on my next project: a Biography of Douglass Houghton. The manuscript is done and I am just making the minor corrections that always come up right before a book is done.
On the Italian Hall front, I will be speaking at Finn Fest in Duluth on July 26, and to the Eagle Harbor book club the next day: http://www.eagleharborbookgroup.org/
Stay tuned for more.

I am with the Michigan Nurses Association and am very interested in having you speak about your book on the Italian Hall tragedy at our upcoming convention. Our convention will be at the Kellogg Center on MSU’s campus October 1st thru 3rd.
I have read some reviews of your presentation and it sounds very compelling. I think that it’s an important part of Michigan’s labor history that our members should be aware of. I knew Tom Katona (great guy) and he was very interested in educating people about the massacre. He showed part the documentary about it at a Michigan Labor Press meeting a few years ago.
Please let me know if you are available, we would love to have you.
Thank you.
