At The Soo
Spoke at the Bayliss Library in Sault Ste Marie a few nights ago, and was greeted on my way into town by this sign over the bridge.

There was a great turnout at the library as well (no doubt, because of the sign!)

It's been rather busy around here lately -- which explains the lack of posts on my part . . .
Death's Door has been named a finalist/semi-finalist in THREE different contests:
The "Ben Franklin Award" by the PMA: http://www.pma-online.org/benfrank2007_finalist.cfm
Foreword Magazine "Book of the Year" (True Crime and Regional): http://www.forewordmagazine.com/botya/print2k6.aspx
And Independent Publisher's "IPPY" award, (again, True Crime):

I'll find out the results the first weekend of June.

I've got a few things lined up for May:
May 12 Missaukee Library 11:00 a.m.
May 15 Sault St Marie public library 4:00 p.m.
And of course, fairs in Ann Arbor are always fun!
May 19 Ann Arbor Book Festival 1:00 p.m.
May 23 Detour library 6:30 p.m.
I hope to be in the UP for some dates in June. I'm ironing out details now.
